What is moissanite?
Moissanite is silicon carbide, a gemstone first found in 1893 by chemist Henri Moissan in a meteor crater in Arizona. Natural moissanite is extremely rare, so ours is lab-created, then cut as a round brilliant.
Is moissanite real or fake?
Real. Lab-created moissanite is genuine silicon carbide, not glass or cubic zirconia. A jeweler can confirm it, and our 60-day guarantee is built on exactly that.
What does 1 ct DEW mean?
DEW means diamond equivalent weight. Each stone is 6.5mm across, the size of a 1-carat diamond. Moissanite is a little lighter than diamond, so the stone itself weighs a bit less than 1 carat.
Will it get cloudy or tarnish?
The stone stays clear: moissanite does not cloud over time. The silver is rhodium plated for extra shine. Plating can wear with time, and a soft polishing cloth brings back the shine.
How do I clean them?
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush. Rinse well, then pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
How long does shipping take?
We prepare your order in 2–4 business days, and most orders arrive 9–17 days after you order. Shipping is free and tracked to the US, the UK, Canada and Australia; your tracking link arrives by email once the order ships.
What is your return policy?
You have 60 days from delivery to return your order for a full refund of the product price. And if any jeweler finds the stones are not genuine moissanite or the setting is not 925 sterling silver, we refund you in full.
